- D&M Kreedence 003K
- LBH Legend 602
- UPH Prospector P152
H Easy Deal 609 ET
Easy Deal is long necked, smooth shouldered and sound with an exceptional muscle pattern and base width. His dam C MS Pure Gold 2003 is becoming one of the most respected cows in recent Hereford times.
His first heifer calf out of a D & M 53 H Kreedence 003K daughter topped the Reno Nugget Sale in December 2008 and has gone to Nebraska, where she’ll continue to be shown.
Easy Deal’s 2009 calves in our herd are impressive and we’re getting good reports from semen purchasers across the country of easy calving, low birthweight calves that are vigorous, thick and pleasing to the eye. Our Canadian partners, ANL Herefords and Haroldsons Herefords, purchased over 700 straws of semen in 2008 and we’re looking forward to seeing a large number of calves there.
Kreedence was the Reserve Grand Champion in Denver in 2003, as well as the Show Bull of the Year in both the Southwest and Northwest Regions.
We were sad to retire him in the Spring of 2009, but even at his advanced age he remained agile and prolific. Kreedence brought more consistency to our herd than any bull we've ever used, and we often used the phrase "peas in a pod" when describing his calves.
His daughters added udder quality and milk volume, have been easy calvers even as heifers, and have produced quality offspring from both Legend 242 and UPH Prospector P152 matings. Part of our current program is concentrating on line-bred Kreedence offspring to continue his predictable consistency.
Legend is co-owned with Daric and Patty Knight of White Mountain Herefords in Springerville, AZ. Purchased at the Synder Sale in Yerington, NV in 2007, this bull topped the Hereford offerings.
His dam was a first calf heifer, is a daughter of D & M 53 H Kreedence 003K and has continued to produce a great calf every year. A recent visit to Arizona showed that this Legend/Kreedence cross bull did an outstanding job with his 2009 calf crop.
His calves are vigorous, well muscled and naturally thick and deep while maintaining low birthweights and calving ease. We also have Legend 602 A.I. calves from first calf heifers showing a 37-1/2% Kreedence influence in our herd.

Prospector has never been shown or halter broke, but was the high point Hereford bull in the Snyder Sale in Yerington, NV in 2005. We purchased him from Uhart Hereford Ranch to use on first calf heifers for his outstanding birth weight numbers, which proved quite successful.
He contributes pigmentation, red necks, tight sheaths and high IMF, along with calving ease and great weaning and yearling weights.
